Northbrook Symphony Awards Scholarship at GBN
NSO Board President Edward J. Amrein, Jr. attended the Awards Ceremony at Glenbrook North High School (GBN) on May 23, 2008 and on behalf of the NSO Board of Directors and Music Director Lawrence Rapchak, announced this year's recipient of the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra's Scholarship Award. This year's winner, as selected by the Glenbrook faculty, was Ian Hallas.  Ian performed as a member of the NSO bass section in the NSO concert on Nov. 11, 2007.
