The Northbrook Symphony thanks all who have participated in the instrument drive. Since 2018, we have collected and distributed more than 1000 instruments and accessories to music students in Waukegan Public Schools. The instrument drive is an ongoing NSO initiative in partnership with Bravo Waukegan, which refurbishes the instruments as needed and delivers them to budding young musicians in Waukegan.
We can accept band and orchestra instruments, as well as guitars. Regrettably we cannot accept pianos, organs or drum kits.
The Northbrook Symphony also offers free tickets to children aged 6 to 17 to all subscription series concerts. Children must attend with a paying adult.
