Section and Chair Sponsorships

An orchestra is nothing without its hardworking musicians. As the North Shore’s professional orchestra, we want to attract and retain the best. You can cover the cost of a player for a full season of concerts in a section sponsorship or chair sponsorship, choosing to support a particular player or an instrument that is special to you.

Chair Sponsorship Levels:
Maestro – $25,000 per season – 10 chairs
Quattro – $10,000 per season – 4 chairs
Bravi – $5,000 per season – 2 chairs
Tutti – $2,500 per season – 1 chair

Sponsor Benefits

  • Recognition of chair sponsorship in each concert program book

  • Recognition of chair sponsorship on the Northbrook Symphony website

  • Invitation to special events, like open rehearsals with the orchestra

  • Personal connection with sponsored musician(s) through an introduction and photo

  • For Corporate Sponsors: full-page recognition in each program book, including company message (see Sponsorship Opportunities for more info).

You can also choose to sponsor an entire section of the orchestra:

First Violins: 10 chairs ($25,000)
Second Violins: 8 chairs ($20,000)
Violas: 8 chairs ($20,000)
Cellos: 6 chairs ($15,000)
Double Basses: 4 chairs ($10,000)
Flutes: 3 chairs ($7,500)
Oboes: 2 chairs ($5,000)

Clarinets: 2 chairs ($5,000)
Bassoons: 2 chairs ($5,000)
Horns: 4 chairs ($10,000)
Trumpets: 2 chairs ($5,000)
Trombones & Tuba: 4 chairs ($10,000)
Timpani: 1 chair ($2,500)
Percussion: 2 chairs ($5,000)
